Notes of Thanks from the field

We know that children who have access to high school education have better employment opportunities and life trajectories. In the last 12 months, the Possible Dreams International (PDI) Education Fund has supported 24 young people with their education. We are grateful for PDI’s Platinum Sponsors IntoWork and Old Carey Grammarians Association for their continued support for this initiative. The demand for Education Fund assistance continues to rise, as more and more families are unable to pay their children’s fees for school, uniforms and books.

Find below notes of appreciation from three students who are currently being supported by the program. To support this work and more, you can donate here. Siyabonga!

Mthokozisi*

“I am Mthokozisi, currently I am doing form 4 at Good Shepherd High School. I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your generous sponsorship for my school fees.

Your support has helped me to pursue my education without the burden of financial stress and I am fully thankful for your belief in my potential. Since receiving your sponsorship, I have been able to focus fully on my studies which has resulted in me getting good grades in school. I am committed to continue working hard to achieve my academic goals. With your support, I am certain that I will achieve my education goals and complete my High School education.

I hope your generosity and thoughtfulness will not end with me but you will continue supporting other students as well so they can reach their goals. Thank you so much Possible Dreams International for supporting those of us who have many life and survival challenges because of our poverty background.”

Kamari*

“Greetings. My name is Kamari. I am a student at Good Shepherd High School and I am doing Form 4.  I am being sponsored by Possible Dreams International since last year. Possible Dreams helped me when I didn’t think I would be returning to school because I had no money for school fees. I had very good grades but I had no money to continue with school because I am an Orphaned and Vulnerable Child living with my grandmother who has no money. I would really like to appreciate PDI for the scholarship, it really brought a positive impact on my life. May you continue helping those who are in need like me because your help is appreciated and making a difference in our lives.
